Setting Up Your Organization

Create your workspace and configure organization details.

After completing your profile, Levelup guides you through creating an organization (also called a workspace). An organization is the shared environment where your team manages company financials, reporting, and analysis.

The full onboarding flow is: Step 1: Complete Profile, Step 2: Create Workspace, Step 3: Invite Members, Step 4: Choose Style.

Creating Your Workspace

This is step 2 of the onboarding process.

  1. Enter a Workspace name. This is the display name for your organization (minimum 2 characters).
  2. Select Continue.

Levelup automatically generates a URL-friendly slug from your workspace name. During creation, there is no slug field visible -- the slug is generated silently from the name you enter. A 14-day Pro Plan free trial is activated when you create your workspace.

Updating Organization Details

After onboarding, Owners and Admins can update the organization profile at any time by navigating to the Organization Settings page from the sidebar. Only Owners and Admins can access this page.

The following fields are available:

  • Name -- The display name of your organization (required).
  • Slug -- The URL identifier for your organization (required). On this page you can manually edit the slug, and Levelup checks availability in real time as you type.
  • Organization logo -- Upload a PNG or JPG file (up to 15 MB). The logo appears in the sidebar and on shared reports.
  • Country -- Select from the country dropdown.
  • Size -- Approximate number of employees (1-10, 11-50, 51-200, 201-500, 501+).
  • Address -- Your organization's physical address.
  • Phone Number -- Contact phone number.
  • Services Provided -- A description of services your organization offers.
  • Website -- Your organization's website URL.

After making changes, select Save to apply them.

Choosing a Theme

Step 4 of onboarding lets you choose between a light and dark visual theme for the Levelup interface.

  1. Select either Light or Dark by clicking the corresponding preview.
  2. The interface updates immediately so you can see the result.
  3. Select Continue to proceed.

You can change your theme at any time from your profile settings.

Deleting an Organization

Only the organization Owner can delete an organization. This action is permanent and removes all associated data, including members and invitations.

  1. Navigate to the Organization update page.
  2. Select Delete Organization at the bottom of the page.
  3. Type the organization name exactly as shown to confirm.
  4. Select Delete.
