Exporting Portfolio Data
Export your portfolio data as an Excel file with date range and comparison options.
Levelup allows you to export your portfolio data as an Excel file for offline analysis, sharing with stakeholders, or integration with other tools.
Accessing the Export Page
- From the portfolio dashboard, click the Export button in the table toolbar.
- The export dialog opens as an overlay.
Configuring the Export
Date Range
Use the month range picker to select the time period for your export.
- Choose a start month and end month.
- The default range covers the last 10 months of available data.
- You can select dates going back up to 10 years from the most recent data available.
Period-Over-Period Comparison
You can include a comparison period in your export:
- Enable the comparison option in the month range picker.
- Select a comparison start and end month.
- The exported file will include both the primary and comparison period data.
What the Export Includes
The export includes all portfolio companies accessible to your account with:
- Financial statements (income statement line items)
- Balance sheet data
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial ratios
- Key metrics for the selected date range
The exported file is an Excel (.xlsx) file named with the export date (for example,
portfolio-export-2026-02-09.xlsx).Downloading the Export
- After selecting your date range, click Export Now.
- A loading indicator appears while the export is being prepared.
- The file downloads automatically to your browser's default download location.
- You are redirected back to the portfolio dashboard after the download completes.
Notes
- The export includes all companies in your portfolio, respecting your organization's access permissions.
